This medication was prescribed to help with my fibromyalgia. Taking this medication has slowly deteriorated my quality of life. It no longer helped with the pain so I discussed it with my physician and it was decided that I could come off this meedication. The "withdrawal" is the most difficult thing I have ever been through. I have had some underlying skin rash from some allergic reation and we are not sure what is is yet. I also suffer from autoimmune problems for over 20 years. This is the only thing that has diminished my severe itching and calmed this unknown body rash (similar to eczma)for the past week. THe itching & body rash was better immediately following the first day of this treatment the next morning.

Treats the illness but not the underlying symptons. In fact, i believe since taking serc that the problem spread to my other ear . -More clicking and congestion apparent than ever before. Side effects of serc outweigh having to combat vertigo attack entirely by itself. ( I didn't seek treatment for nearly two weeks in the hope it would go away by itself like it did before).
