Years ago tried Alphagan, but had to stop because of the BAD eye pain it caused. More recently tried it again, to lower eye pressure, but instead it ELEVATED eye pressures by 5 and 7 points!, and it caused a raft of side-effects, including extreme fatigue, irregular heartbeat, hair loss, agitation, redness around eyes, itchiness. Discontinued use after two months.

I was on Junel for a 2 or 3 years. I absolutely loved it. I went through a year and a half of hit and misses with many different types of birth controls. I did not gain weight, I actually lost a lot of weight and maintained a great weight or have depression. However, I did have a difference in my sex drive right before I quit taking it due to money troubles. Hand tremor is the most obnoxious side effect of this for me. I take less of the med because of it, which means it doesn't work quite as well. Wellbutrin XL doesn't cause the hand tremors so I can take enough to be fully effective, but I can't afford it.
