I've taken Lisinopril for about 12 years. The last year and a half I started to get a "patchy numbness" on the bottom of my feet. I felt that this was most likely due to the addition of Clonidine to my blood pressure Rx's. I told my doctor about this and she then doubled my Clonidine. I have been taking a teaspoon of turmeric powder daily with food for 18 months. Excellent anti-inflammatory. Very useful in reducing body fat, possibly suppresses appetite as well as seeming to help fat with reduction. With vitamin D3 it apparently enhances the immune system.I've had no colds or infections for well over a year now.

Honestly, this medication did not really work for me. I had to switch to a more effective one, and I just don't remember the name of that one. But chloramphenicol was just useless, and with so many side effects, I used to wonder whether or not it was not worsening the symptoms of my typhoid fever.

I have been using Gymnema as part of a herbal tablet (along with chromium, B12, Glucomannan, etc) for a few months and took it twice per day. It gave me better numbers but not as good as I would like, and some consistency in my readings. Recently I changed to a capsule - hard as heck to swallow - that is a higher dosage.
