I took seasonique for about 6 months and I just went off of it. I've almost completely lost my sex drive which sucks! Other than that when I did get my period once every 3 months it was awful, I had terrible cramps/headaches, and the first few days were so heavy I bled through tampons on multiple occasions! Advil is a great OTC medication for minor pains. It's been effective on headaches, toothaches, and even menstrual cramps. It is not always effective on stronger pains. I have also not suffered from any negative side effects.
