I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. While growing up I had very painful periods, and one year when I went in for an annual checkup the doctor had discovered a cyst on my ovary. i have had serious diziness, feel heavy headed, head feels fuzzy, lack of concentration, also my eyes feel very heavy and ache sometimes, my vision is almost blurry - i absolutely hate the way i feel and am on the verge og depression, and no doctor to date has said that the way that i feel can be a side effect of lymecyline, so i have stopped taking them as of today and so far no improvement...but need to give it some more time probably.

I suffer from horrible headaches. I also get tension headaches and migraines. I take preventative medication (topamax) for my migraines but sometimes I still get one here and there. When I do get a bad migraine I usually take maxalt, but when it is not available to me I stick to what work has always worked in the past and that is ibuprofen. For the typical bad headache or tension headache, 600 or 800 mg of Ibuprofen just knocks the headache right out so I do not have to repeat the dose later... View full comment
