Although I had allergic reaction with each infusion, the side effects from the Taxol got better after 7-10 days. I didn't have nausea at all (actually had a very good appetite) except my stomach was queasy for about 7 days after 4th infusion. I had an odd taste in my mouth with excess saliva for a several days after infusions. Very tired but that too improves after 7-10 days. My 14 year old daughter had the 1st of the 3 on 3/9/2010. She had pain at the injection site which is typical but since has had abdonimal pain and had no menstration. I am not sure if we will continue with the series.

Took it for 6 months starting with a high dosage to treat pericarditis. I kept to a strict diet and only gained 5 lbs during the 6 months but the other side effects were awful. Developed severe joint pain from head to toe and had leg and foot cramps. I would wake at night in terrible pain that was awful enough to leave me crying. I have since told doctors I will never go on such a high dosage again. I now use 10mg per day and have only had minor side effects that are livable. I did develop ca... View full comment

i had been taking reclipsen for a year and i got bilateral pulmanary embolisms that the dr.s determined was caused by the birth control. so i would suggest that you should get tested for a birth defect called the factor v lieden...birth control tells you that it increases the risks for blood clots but not why....im thinking about sueing but im not sure yet
