I have experienced the symptoms of Candida to the greatest degree. It made life very difficult to handle and was life threatening due to the deep depression and panic attacks. I am taking Proscar (finasteride) in its non-prescribed use as a hair loss drug. After taking it for 6 months, I have seen an effective stop to my hair loss, and an increase in the density of my hair in the front. New vellous (small/white) hairs are popping up around my scalp, and some of them continue to darken. For the last month I have notice a big change in my confidence and a little bit in my sight, but I didn't think twice about it. I just figured it was all circumstantial. For example, me being single and the date for my next eye exam coming up. But I didn't have these until I got on Lutera and now I'm wondering if they have something to do with one another? hmmm...
