I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. While growing up I had very painful periods, and one year when I went in for an annual checkup the doctor had discovered a cyst on my ovary. After using synthetic l-dopa, I switched to atmagupta. I no longer have insomnia, constipation, nervousness. I had a bad experience with Nuva-Ring. I had originally been on the Depo-Provera shot for about 4 years before I decided to try something else. I researched and talked to my doctor, and decided to try Nuva-Ring.
