I was not happy with this medication. I did not take it for birth control, but for other medical reasons as prescribed by my doctor. I was depressed, moody, and overall felt physically worse.

I took MARAX as a child in 60's, early 70's for asthma. I found it effective, but found it to cause a (to me, scary) side effect my doctor never mentioned: Marax caused me to "see stars" upon rising from sitting position; to the point that this "visual static" (similar to analog TV picture after station goes off the air) made it impossible to see, momentarily, upon rising. I used this drug in my insulin pump. I have to take a bolus and a recommended amount prescribed by my doctor according to my A1C. In my opinion it is not much different from the insulin I take now. The only reason I changed insulin is because my new insulin was more readily available to my endocrinologist.

I've recently discovered that I'm suffering from candida which apparently is a side-effect of Advair. I'm not at all happy about this! Also my skin is incredibly dry - not sure if that's because of Advair side-effects or not.

I took this medication(zyflamend) on the advice of a nurse(cardiac) My bloode pressure went up the next day and my joint pain stayed about the same. I stopped after two days and my blood pressure went back to normal.
