My 15 year old son has ADHD. He has been on numerous stimulants over the years as well as Strattera. The stimulants caused decreased weight and appetitie and increased frustration. While they helped with focus, the tradeoffs were difficult. He currently is on Vyvanse 50 mg daily and began Intuniv 1mg three weeks ago and has titrated up to 3 mg. For me, kava works wonders for my sometimes debilitating anxiety. Non-addictive, and does not cloud my thinking. However, I usually take more than whatever the recommended dose on the bottle says. No side effects, other than if you take "too much", sometimes you can feel a little tired the next day, and/or not sleep as well in the morning. I have not experienced any sideeffects or bad reactions to AZOR. I tried Benicar for 3 weeks but it did not lower the my diastolic BP. Before Benicar I had values of 150/85. With Benicar 130/90. The AZOR numbers are consistantly 100/64. I documented all results in an excel spreadsheet and gave them to my doctor. I use a blood pressure cuff just like the Dr uses and a Littman scope. My weight is 170lbs, ht 5ft 9 in. I give AZOR an A+

The first three months were hellish. i constantly needed to throw up. my head hurt. i was exhausted. after that everything calmed down. i still feel nauseous in the mornings but it's bearable. i'm much calmer. my enthusiasm for certain things has dulled and i'm pretty sure my sex drive has decreased. but it was pretty darn high to start off with so situation still isn't critical :-) my sensitivity (physical) has decreased though which is a down side. my sense of urgency has gone which is good...
