I have been taking lasix for over seventeen years. It is a diarhetic because it pulls teh potassium out of my body. So I need additional potassium to balance it out. It makes me photosensitive from the sun, so I have to wear long sleves to protect myself.

Benadryl relieves my allergy symptoms but the few times I have taken it actually have been to help me sleep. Unlike some may assume, taking it with Singulair (which I use regularly) caused no side effects. It also worked right away.

Hey, I am starting to think about the side-effects of Depakine in the long term - the slowdown of brain fucntion, hair-loss, later kidney and liver demage and concentration. I am only 28 now, was 25 at the first episode. And I am really aware of the long-term slowdown of the brain.

I started taking Vyvanse when Adderall XR stopped working for me about 2 years ago. At first the side effects were strong ( I started at 50 mg) including social reclusion, irritability, dry mouth, stomach problems, and loss of appetite- the problem was I didn't notice the social side effects- I just wanted to get things done and nothing else mattered. Strong raspberry leaf infusions are the ONLY thing that has ever relieved my menstrual cramps and accompanying symptoms, such as nausea and diarrhea. Pharmaceuticals have never helped my cramps. I also use raspberry leaves and berries infused in apple cider vinegar during my menstrual cycle as the vinegar extracts a great deal of nutrients in the leaves (calcium, magnesium etc) that help with cramps and pms, as well as the high iron in the berries.
