I would strongly discourage women with anxiety and/or depression from taking this pill. I've suffered from anxiety and depression for years, which is kept in check by medication, however by week three of my first pack of this pill, I experienced depression so severe that I did nothing but sleep and cry for a week. As if that were bad enough, I went through two weeks of daily panic attacks which sent me to urgent care twice and eventually to a counselor to eliminate them. Please tell your doct... I am very happy with Lamictal as I have been able to come off of another mood stabiliser (which was causing unwanted side effects) .. it is much more effective for my condition ( Bi polar disorder) .. this medication does not affect my libido like other medication either... the only problem is that it is not a government subsidized medication as it is not recognised as a medication needed for bi polar disorder and so is very expensive...
