I have suffered from asthma my whole life and depended on inhalers when I had an attack. Sometimes the attacks were so bad I was put in the hospital. Since I started taking accolate I have not had any serious attacks or been hospitalized for asthma. It has worked great for me and I only use an inhaler when needed for minor asthma attacks.

I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. I often have to switch my birth control because it doesn't always relieve my pain. Microgestin has been effective until recently. Just last month was a very heavy and painful period. I also had irregular bleeding 2 weeks before my usual period. I'm unsure if this is normal or a problem with Microgestin, but it will be discussed with my doctor. Either way, it was an uncomfortable month and quite inconvenient.
