I believe I suffered from depression and anxiety for many years before being officaly diagnosed. I finally seeked help when it was affecting my ability to be a good wife and mother. I am a 52 year old male. All negative symtoms are mild and could be due to other causes. If I stop taking Lexapro for a day or two I immediately notice reduced patience, being unduly bothered and reaction excessively to minor irritants and general non specific anxiety. In general I go from being a nice person to being very intolerant. Once I resume Lexapro these symptoms quickly go away (1 day).

I have been on 150mg's for around 8weeks.My sleep did improve greatly,so I felt much better due to this. My depression did improve alot,and I felt able to cope.The side effects that were trouble -some were severe constipation,and very dry,sore throat & mouth mostly during the night/day. I have come off them now because my sleep /depression are starting to get sadly worse.

I was prescribed Entocort for IBS (very loose stools) by my Gastro. I have been taking them now for almost 2 weeks with one capsule of "Align" probiotic. I have noticed absolutly no change and have discontinued its use.
