I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet. Also, when I broke my foot and had tendonitis I was given prescription 800mg ibuprofen and it was the best thing for the pain and inflammation. I would rather take Ibuprofen then any o... Would prefer natural medication but Dr. said Olmetec Plus is good. Ankles painful at tendons on heel and above. Urine is clear white. Kidney function down. He is watching that now. Taken this for 1 year so far and blood pressure came down right away and is good. I am watchful about side effects that Drs. don't tell or know about. This kidney stuff bothers me. I have had some underlying skin rash from some allergic reation and we are not sure what is is yet. I also suffer from autoimmune problems for over 20 years. This is the only thing that has diminished my severe itching and calmed this unknown body rash (similar to eczma)for the past week. THe itching & body rash was better immediately following the first day of this treatment the next morning.
