I took Yasmin thinking it would give me almost identical benefits as Yaz, and Yasmin is available generic (whereas Yaz is not). However, within a month of taking this oral contraceptive my physicial and emotional state got much worse. My appetite was out of control, I ruminated over everything, etc.

I've been on it only 4 days and i'm having major memory problems. I cant remember where things are, who people are what I need to do. I cant focus, concentrate or accomplish anything. It's very scary, like i'm looking at me from the outside. Its causing a lot of anxiety and panic. I'm only on 25 mg.

Today my doctor told me to stop the Lipitor because my liver is "not happy". Since being on the drug, I have experienced lower cholesterol. BUT I have also had irregular heartbeat, weight gain especially abdominal, blood in my urine that the urologist can find no reason for, swollen hands and fingers, feet feel sore and hot but look normal, rashes on my arms, weakness in knees, and pain in my right side. I do take 1000 mfg of OTC Niacin - quick release, which has been more instrumental in reducing cholesterol, and other lipids. This can cuase severe etching, if done on emply stomach, and whiteout taking aspirin 15minutes before.
