Hi Kumar, There are some great ayurvedic (indian medicine) herbs for blood pressure that DON'T have side effects. Amla is a good one to start with, but tripaila is good too. You might want to check with any ayurvedic doctor. There should be some in Singapore, check the auyervedic section of this site. I used Mononessa for about 3-4 months. I started back in late February and ended in June. Over that time, I had very intense mood swings and many crying episodes. I usually am a very positive person and I could not get into a good mental place. I was also vomiting much more often and I experienced several intense headaches and multiple mild ones in a month. This drug was a last ditch effort for me. It was trying this or having ECT which I am strongly against. I am happy that pristiq has given me much needed relief not only from depression but from anxiety as well. The only really awful side effect I had at first was nausea. It was very strong for about 3 weeks and then faded as time has gone on. I would recommend anyone whose tried other medications that haven't worked well for them to try this one.
