I have tried 36 antidepressants during my lifetime and only two worked well for me - lofepramine (you cant get it in the US) and Wellbutrin.. I felt really really tired and lethargic on most other drugs, and some gave me some really nasty side effects - seizures from venlafaxine, suicidal tendencies with prozac, tics, anxiety or severe tiredness with others

(Using this pill for 2 1/2 years) Pros: Yasmin did a good job of preventing pregnancy, it cleared my skin and made my hair shiny. Cons: I've had more breast tenderness while on this pill, especially a week before my period, which I'm sure contributed to my mood swings. In the first year, I had issues with migraines, but that's calmed down during the second year. It also has been difficult to control my weight, which is my biggest issue with it. I have taken Differin two different times. The first time Differin was just in a progression of increasingly strong topical acne medications, the first time the the Differin was ineffective in treating my acne. I then progressed and took Accutane which significantly improved my acne. I now use Differin cream as needed to treat random break-outs on my face and I now, having eliminted the severe acne with Accutane, I am able to use Differin with satisfaction.
