I take Meloxicam daily for arthritis pain in my hand and the pain is much better even though it does hurt from time to time. I have also noticed that my knee which used to give me a lot of pain no longer hurts. My wife says I don't whine anymore

I suffer from Fibromyalgia and a variety of chronic joint and muscle pain. I cannot take anti-inflamatories because I take Coumadin (blood thinner). I was prescribed Percocet after major shoulder surgery and found it was the 'best' pain releif I'd ever gotten for my whole body. I am on a relatively low-dose for chronic pain and yes, I know this is physically addictive. However, quality of life is addictive as well!!!! I've been on many of the meds for Anxiety/stress...Zoloft, Effexor, Lexapro....All with about the same side effects, Lexapro with the least. I was given samples of Pritiq about 10 days ago and these past 10 days have been pretty wierd. I haven't had the urge, nor have I been able to force myself, to do anything. I feel like I can barely lift my arms. Been pretty nauseated. My anxiety is pretty much gone, but so is my personality. I'm switching back to Lexapro. The reason I switched over... View full comment

Adjusting to the side effects was very difficult for the first year and a half but the worse symptoms (diarrhea and fatigu. ) have abated a lot in the past year . The drug is completely controlling my disease, CML and I am very happy with it.
