For me, kava works wonders for my sometimes debilitating anxiety. Non-addictive, and does not cloud my thinking. However, I usually take more than whatever the recommended dose on the bottle says. No side effects, other than if you take "too much", sometimes you can feel a little tired the next day, and/or not sleep as well in the morning. Maxalt-MLT wipes out my migraines and is very easy to take. Since taking Maxalt I am able to stop my migraines before they start.

paracetemol works however i feel actifast is more effective than paracetemol when it comes to my headaches.

DHC works wonders!! Nothing like Codiene at all, so don't worry folks! Also* There is no ceiling effect like codeine! On the negative side, tolerance can build within days. If I were to make a comparison for those who haven't heard of Dihydrocodeine; I'd says it's the UK's version of our "Hydrocodone (Vicodin,etc)". The two are quite similar.
