My daughter was given Yaz because she had horrible cramps and fatigue during her periods. Within 3 weeks she had pain in the back of her thigh - mostly while walking up stairs. I was on 25mg for a year. I was fine. Doctor increased to 50mg a week ago and my head is about to explode. Headaches and migraines are driving me insane! Trying to figure out if that's momentary or not.

After having taken Advil PM for the last month due to difficulty sleeping I have had randomly, really bad nightmares on several occasions. Waking up with an accelerated heartbeat and remembering most of the very vivid dreams. I do not drink and only take a prescription medicine during the day, as prescribed...this is not a good reaction and should be noted by the drug company as people can related heart problems.

During the short time that I took Pristiq, I felt as though I was having an "out of body experience" and was no longer connected to the world. I could not eat, sleep properly, was very irritable, and could not relate to anyone, not even myself. It was effective in preventing pregnancy as well as regulating my periods and lessing the pain of cramps during my period. However, as a healthy 18-20 year old, my sex drive was reduced dramatically to the point that I stopped taking this medication. When I stopped, my sex drive returned.
