It's not until I complete this survey that I realise what an adverse affect carbimazole has had one me. It did lower my thyroid levels (and that seems to be all my doctor is interested in) but I feel worse for it. I also wonder whether other medication interracts with it. I also take lithium (which caused by hyperthyroidism) and although my doctor has said this wouldn't be a problem, I wonder if it is an issue. Final comment. I now have a really sore lower back. My 15 year old daughter got 2 out of the 3 required Gardasil shots in the fall of 2009. Two weeks after her first shot, we were in the emrgency room with severe abdominal pain, weeks of tests showed nothing wrong, after her second shot the paid increased and caused a new pain in her back. We again went to ER more weeks of tests - nothing. I really appreciate this drug, and the effect it has on my blood pressure. It works really fast, and I can feel the change. It also releases my headache when I use it, and sometimes I even forget to take it in the morning, but it has no noticeable side effects for that. I would recommentd this drug to anyone.

Wonderful for Interstitial Cystitis! I've taken this drug for 30 years with no side effects! Calms the histamines in the bladder wall. And, helps with sleep as well.
