The first few days I took Trileptal I felt "drunk" but that vanished within the first week. Cognitive side effects such as severely not being able to remember words and short term memory loss were severe the first few months, but tapered off so that after the first 6 months I wasn't and am still not sure if it's the Trileptal or getting older (45) that's causing the now mild effects.

I take it along with Actos once a day and glucophage XR and all together they seem to do the job. My blood sugars are never quite as low as the target rates but I actually feel dizzy and crumby when I am within the 70-120 range for my blood sugars. I believe my blood sugar level should actually be slightly higher than the average person because I feel better when they are around 120-160. I know this is not the accepted view but that is how I feel.

I am 28 yrs. old. I have been taking this product for a few months and am building muscle again. I am no longer sleeping 19 hrs. out of a 24 hr day so my energy is back. I wasted 2 yrs trying to find out why I was tired all the time till I found a doc smart enough to test. Always get that to young for that comments. The only thing I hate is applying cream all the time. The new six month time released shot is looking promising. Can't wait for that.

Takes 2-4 days before noticing effects, not very effective. Produces slight side effect of minor skin rash and dry skin. Switched to more highly effective ointments. Seems have to apply more than prescribed per day (three times per day) in order to be more effective.

I have never had any problem achieving orgasm in my entire life and I am now 63 (female, athletic, in shape). This drug, at only 10MG/day, has left me a basket case. I cannot achieve orgasm no matter what I do and it's like walking around with a constant physical need that can't be satisfied. I even have SEX DREAMS!! This is beyond awful. the pil has been affective. I took it for about 8 or 9 years. I am no longer on it and have had my colesterol checked and my HDL was low and I have read articles that says that may be due to the birth control pill.
