Tylenol is a staple medication in my family whenever there’s a cold or some little ailment. My dad’s a family practicioner and we all happen to use Tylenol. It does wonders and is reliable. I’ve never had any problems as a result of Tylenol use.

I'm aware that the drug should not be taken with alcohol, but as I drink regularly I figured I could predict the results. I planned on just a more intensified reaction to alcohol or maybe a feeling of light headed-ness. Turns out, it causes (to me at least) blackouts and erratic behavior after only two or three drinks. Cyclobenzaprine did help relieve my pain and my muscle spasms, however I believe that the negative side effects outweighed the benefits of the medication. Almost immediately after ingesting half of the recommened dose, I began to feel extremely drowsy. I fell asleep for an extended period of time, and when I woke up, I did not feel rested and I could have slept for several more hours. I was prescribed this drug when I had a severe sinus infection and kept vomiting. The drowsiness associated with this medicine was more debilitating to me than the vomiting, so I stopped taking the medicine. I think that they did not need to prescribe me something so strong, and the doctor did not warn me of the side effects I would likely experience.
