I had 2 shots of depo to help with my severe PMS. Whilst I was on it, I didn't notice a huge difference but when I decided to stop taking it, I never had a period for 11 months. I put some weight on whilst having the shots but put on even more weight after coming off it, gaining 2 stone in total. Cymbalta was the -worst- experience I've ever had with mental health medicine. I've suffered from depression for 12 years and tried many medications but Cymbalta, by far, has the -worst- side effects to any drug I've ever tried. Granted the pharmacy made a mistake, but the mistake was in my favor! They gave me half the dosage they were supposed to (which was 30mg of Cymbalta) which was the appropriate dosage. I am on 0.25 Xanax twice a day along with Ativan 0.5mg -2 tabs before bedtime. My Dr. wanted me to try Xanax and see what worked the best for me. I had been on Ativan 0.5 mg 3 or 4 times day and it seemed to have quit working for me. Now, I can't really tell any difference between Ativan and Xanax. I really think i like Ativan the best. So frustated with meds. I am also on Lexapro- 20 mg. Any suggestions for me?
