I have been taking quasense for over a year and love it!!!! I skip the placebo pills every 3 months and go straight to the reg pills so I do spot a little every few months, but its better than bleeding for days and having all the other symptoms that go along with a crappy period.... My only complaint is that even the generic is expensive! Walmart has sprintec (generic ortho-tricyclen) for $9 and I pay over $100 for quasense every 3 months. Otherwise no negative side effects that I am aware of... View full comment

I would talk to your doctor about Lexapro. I tried cymbalta for a few months and had really bad side effects. I did gain a few pounds but it wasnt very noticeable. The main problem I had was that it made me very lethargic and I could barely function on a day to day basis. I am taking Lexapro now and I love it. I have had no side effects whatsoever and if anything it has curbed my appetite.

I suffer from Psioratic Arthritis, I am on anti TNF Humira, which mainly controls the Psioriosis however the joint and deforming pain caused by my white blood cells killing my own body tissue joints has been slowed down, the pain or tightness and agravation of the effect still remains, Alcohol helps A LOT, of which it is one or the other before bedtime, My condition is nothing to do with The Gulf War pt1 is it when I was injected with a cocktail of autoimmune system boosting chemicals was it!... The doctor prescribed me the wrong amount and I ended up getting severe diarrhea and upset stomach, so i think thats why I had those severe side effects it messed up my stomach for a while.

I'VE HAD A WEIGHT PROBLEM FOR A LONG TIME. HOWEVER, RISPERDAL DOES SEEM TO AGGRAVATE THIS. WITHOUT MY RISPERDAL I GET VERY PARANOID AND ANXIOUS. WITH MY RISPERDAL I CAN FUNCTION AND HAVE A SENSE OF PERSPECTIVE AND HUMOR. DRY MOUTH IS PREEETY BAD IN THE NIGHT. ALSO MAY CAUSE STUFFY NOSE ALTHOUGH I AM PROBABLY ALLERGIC TO MANY DIFFERENT SUBSTANCES. KNOWN ARE DUST AND POLLEN. SATISFACTORY GENERICS ARE AVAILABLE.
