I agree with anonymous July 18 2009. no joy or happiness in life. I didn't feel anything in fact. my doctor reduced the dosage and now I feel fine. I have more energy and am more motivated.

Once I started on the Lexapro my suicidal thoughts and feelings of hopelessness were no longer an issue. I loved being able to sleep at nights again. I have had great results with hardly any side effects. The cost is very expensive so I tried other meds hoping to get the same results but other meds were not as successful; prozac did nothing for me...still weepy and depressed. Retin A completely dried out my skin to the point where I didn't even want to use it. The skin around my eyes was dry and red and it hurt to even blink. I was only prescribed to use it every other day and i could only use it two or three times a week because my face would hurt so bad. I got red, peeling, and the dry skin. Nothing helped. I stayed on it to see if anything would get better (since i was told it would go from worse to better) and nothing happened. I wasn't happy with this.

I take Ibuprofen whenever I am having pain...especially for my sore knees. It also works well for headaches or other muscles problems. My family is a firm believer in using it!
