My doctor prescribed this medication to me when I was 16. My skin was at a point where it was starting to break out a little. When I started doxycycline, I would get extremely nauseated to the point where I would vomit. I then decided that instead of taking it in the mornings, it would be best to take it after my evening meal. It worked out great. Yasmin was an effective birth control method but it does more harm than good. I was nauseous while taking it and had reduced libido although my skin did clear.
