I have pretty bad anxiety/OCD and Pristiq doesn't really help me with that. Maybe a little, but not much. I don't feel depressed taking it. Noticed my hair is falling out a little faster since I started taking Pristiq, but I'm a guy in his late 20's and it was already an issue, just not to the extent it is now. Tums is good for heartburn but it generally takes a few hours to kick in for me. I also don't really like the taste but that's not much of an issue to deal with.

I take Tums because I like the taste and although I am not low on calcium, I consider them safe as a calcium supplement- if taken as directed. They work for indigestion, too, but if I take one on an empty stomach I get stomach pains.

paracetamol does not do anything! i can never feel any difference than before taking it, but maybe it does kind of stop my nose running and relieves me from coughing, other than that, i do not take paracetamol for any other reason.

I have been on lithium for 35 yrs. had a breakdown when my identical sister died.I tried twice in that period of time to stop it and I got a mini break down.Iwill never get off it again.But i would like to go down to one because of all these side effects.Of course I will be asking my dr. about it,but I wanted to know if my feelings about these side effects are being aggravated by lithium.
