I have been taking Allegra-D for quite some time. Over the past 5 years, I have had increasingly painful menstrual cramps to the point where it affects bowel movements. I recently did some research and found that Allegra-D can be a cause for menstrual cramps. I stopped taking Allegra-D and the menstrual cramping and painful bowel movements have gone back to normal. He said that it would increase my break outs only to speed up the process and treat my acne problem more quickly, "get all of it out from under the skin" as he put it. I got poison ivy and used cortaid to alleviate the itch. It made it go away pretty fast and I was satisfied overall with it. In some of the open blisters it really burned.
