I feel the benefits have out weighed the side effects. I can sty focused, don't get as impatient and am generally calmer. Just wish the effect on sexual arousal wasn't so great.

I started Piracetam on a Friday. I felt like I slept better and during waking hours, I didn't stress as much about things. I was very "mellow". I started getting a sore throat like a cold on Saturday. Then on Sunday afternoon, I felt a little feverish. By Sunday night, I had moderate fever and vomiting. I was in bed with fever for 24 hours. As seasons pass, i've noticed that i've been suffering more and more from sinus headaches and stuffy nose. The other products didn't really work for me. I take Sprays a day and my suffering is done with. Gone are the pressure and pain. I can function again.

Phenergan with codeine was prescribed to me when I had an upper respiratory infection (a cold). I had a very bad cough and bad congestion. I only took it at night because it had a significant drowsiness effect on me. I had to take more than the recommended amount to notice an effect on my cough- and I didn't feel like it was much more effective than over the counter products- except for putting me to sleep.
