I would have thought 3 months is a long enough trial, I don't think therefore that this one is going to work for you... Have you tried anything else? If this is the next in a long list of "things to try" then can I suggest that you go back to your GP and ask for a dermatology referral. There is a drug called Roaccutane ( you may have heard of it) Yes, its strong and Yes, it does have side effects, but it is effective against acne when all else has failed. THIS DRUG PERMANENTLY CASTRATED ME. I took 10 mg a day for 5 weeks and lost all sexual function. It has been a year after discontinuation and I have not regained my libido, arousal, desire. Am completely asexual. I am not taking any drugs and have not taken any before in my life. Will most likely commit suicide. THANKS LUNDBECK! I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!!!

Last five weeks have been Blood Pressure 130/84, 138/95, 127/90, 133/85, 129/86. Weight loss has been 4Kg due to diet and exercise. Heart Rate over those 5 weeks was 61, 62, 62, 64, 59 Bpm.

It was a great drug in the beginning, but later the side effects are very severe would not recommend. I had shortness of breath and chest pains, and I would work out everyday. I stopped the pills and after a week of not taking them I felt a lot better.
