I have been having more problems with Armour, and been wanting to try it; because I never felt that great on Synthroid and the generic brand. They removed my thyroid and my ranges our high for me. I am taking Proscar (finasteride) in its non-prescribed use as a hair loss drug. After taking it for 6 months, I have seen an effective stop to my hair loss, and an increase in the density of my hair in the front. New vellous (small/white) hairs are popping up around my scalp, and some of them continue to darken. Actually I did not notice any particular change in my prostate condition. But I remember that since I started with Cyproterone, edema started developing, on my feet especially. But since the cancer didn't get worse, I assume the medication worked effectively.
