I use a mix of drugs as preventive for my "Cluster" condition one is Topamax. At first I was on 250mg and it was terrible as I lost weight, dizzy, total lack of concentration and at time could not even remember my telephone number or home address. My doctor prescribed this medication to me when I was 16. My skin was at a point where it was starting to break out a little. When I started doxycycline, I would get extremely nauseated to the point where I would vomit. I then decided that instead of taking it in the mornings, it would be best to take it after my evening meal. It worked out great. I think that my body is building a tolerance to it because it takes more pills to work. I like it because it puts me to sleep but the last time I had a headache I had to take 3 within 2 hours to get to sleep.

I've been on sandomigran for at least 3 years now. I recently went up to 3 per day but it's not working. It worked really well for ages but no longer and the side effects are getting harder to tolerate. I find they have incresased on the higher dose so I am going back to the neurologist to see if there is an alternative. I've tried lots of other meds though. Hopefully there is something out there that can help.

Mortin IB is horrible! It gave me horrible stomach pains. I started bleeding from my rectum. I have had a horrible experience with Motrin IB. I would NEVER recommend it to anyone!
