I have been using Gymnema as part of a herbal tablet (along with chromium, B12, Glucomannan, etc) for a few months and took it twice per day. It gave me better numbers but not as good as I would like, and some consistency in my readings. Recently I changed to a capsule - hard as heck to swallow - that is a higher dosage. I used to take claritin for allergies but once zyrtec was placed over the counter I started using it. I have allergies to animals, pollen, and other outdoor things and Zyrtec works for all of them. It also works much quicker than claritin so I can take it on an as needed basis- although during the spring and fall I normal have to take it every day. I relieves itchy water eyes, sneezing, itchy nose and throat, and prevents congestion. Its worked great and I would recommend it for allergies!

This drug helped my stomach issues although I suffered from major side effects. I reported the side effects to my dr at least 3 times last year and she never mentioned it could be this drug. Of course, I read the precautions on my prescriptions but my side effects were listed as very rare. It just didn't occur to me that it could be my stomach medicine.

This drug is absolutely AWFUL!!!!! If I feel good one day out of a week it's a miracle. The abdominal pain, gas, bloating, constipation and dirreah is worse than being diabetic. I'm sick all the time and feel like I have a permanent hangover. If you can take something else, or better yet, not at all....do it. This drug cure is worse than the ailment.

I used it when I had a bad headache once and it worked wonders for me. It also provided a fair amount of relief when I got my wisdom teeth pulled. The variety of it is great, and even the chewable tablets are excellent (and taste well).
