I have been more than happy and satisfied until I came to know, all PRAZOLE substitutes can cause osteoporosis [a study done in U.K. and USA] I am noworried, as I have past menopause abot 10 years ago and am already taking Ca and other substitutes. I recently stopped taking PANTOCID and my husband put me on a different drug RANITIDINE Hcl, but it is not suiting me. I want to re-start PANTOICID but worried as it may worsen my osteoporosis further.

Lyrica is one of the sneakiest little devil there is. First you feel great, it really helped with the nerve pain through out my body, and it knocked me out at night. I definitely couldn't take this medication in the day time, and forget about driving that is a joke! You can barely see, and that is if you aren't already lost from confusion. The initial hair loss was much more than I expected - probably half my hair if I judged by the thickness of my ponytail and lasted longer than expected probably 9 months from the start of my taking it. I didn't notice it too much for the first 4-5 months but I was also taking prednisone then. After I stopped the prednisone about 6 months in with the Imuran the hair loss became pronounced. I take Sudafed when I have a head cold. It helps unplug my ears but it does not work everytime I take it. I do recommend it.

I drink a tea or homemade soda of prickly ash daily (we have tons of prickly ash trees in the woods), to help with symptoms from mild hypothyroidism. I skipped a few days last week, and could not figure out why I felt so cold all the time. Then, I realized that that's how I always used to feel, before I started taking the prickly ash. Since restarting the prickly ash, my feelings of coldness have normalized again.

Wow, Tom, I hope I am playing basketball at 75 too. I agree though, my Dad never took anything and he looks about 60 even through he is 78. I use a lot of indian herbs like amala, awhwagandha, and Gotu Kola which seems to keep me running, but my basket ball game aint what it used to be. Nice site here. Thanks
