Adjusting to the side effects was very difficult for the first year and a half but the worse symptoms (diarrhea and fatigu. ) have abated a lot in the past year . The drug is completely controlling my disease, CML and I am very happy with it.

I started taking Lexapro when I was a sophomore in high school after I was finally diagnosed with an anxiety disorder after years of daily symptoms including a fluttery stomach, racing nervous thoughts, uncomfortably noticeable heartbeat, etc. and also occasional panic attacks. I've had sinus problems for over 30 years. Nose spray used to relieve stuffyness and no nose doctor could help with medications. Was taking perscription Alegra-D but it stopped working after a few months. Caritin-D 12 hr continues to work allowing me to get restful sleep at night.

I'm allergic to penicillin, but apart from that I'm one of the lucky ones that never normally suffers from drug side effects - I've been given many different antibiotics and never had any effects similar to this one. I went to the dentist healthy, within 24 hours I had reactions/infections that I never normally suffer - never had a yeast infection or sinus infection before taking this drug.
