It's not until I complete this survey that I realise what an adverse affect carbimazole has had one me. It did lower my thyroid levels (and that seems to be all my doctor is interested in) but I feel worse for it. I also wonder whether other medication interracts with it. I also take lithium (which caused by hyperthyroidism) and although my doctor has said this wouldn't be a problem, I wonder if it is an issue. Final comment. I now have a really sore lower back. I wish this drug was available in the US. It is a very popular drug in the rest of the world. I know it was a taken off the shelves in a few countries for some kidney problems that might have been caused in young children and others by it, so I am sure it will never make it here, but it is an effective pain killer if taken moderately, maybe not every day. The sachets of powder are way more effective for the migraines than the pill form, in fact, the pills don't work, only the powder form do... View full comment

I get extremely hot and sweat even while doing mild tasks, its irritating but i could deal with it, to get rid of the pain. recently my sense of smell and taste have gotten very weird i cant be around anything without getting sick to my stomache and or wondering has that always smelt that way. etc.. and i have had an upset stomach through out use of the product
