I was prescribed prednisone for two months to help with colitis. I developed Avascular Necrosis of the hips within 12 months due to this drug. I needed to have my hips replaced at age 31. They said it is a rare side effect, but it isn't rare enough.

I have fibromyalgia and was very hopeful while taking this medicaiton but to tell you the truth my life was a living hell. I found myself in a deep dark place I had never been before, I think if it wasn't for my faith I don't know what this medication would have caused me to do. Please have all doctors watch there patients very carefully! I am a 48 yr. old women and I had these side effects not a young person like your ads warn. Citalopram worked amazingly well at bringing me out of my depression. It brought me from a 1-2 to a 7-8. After taking Citalopram I have literally never been happier in my life. However, for me a side effect has been extreme loss of energy and drowsyness.

I've had sinus problems for over 30 years. Nose spray used to relieve stuffyness and no nose doctor could help with medications. Was taking perscription Alegra-D but it stopped working after a few months. Caritin-D 12 hr continues to work allowing me to get restful sleep at night.
