I have had excellent success with cipralex, treating anxiety and depression. Ive been on it for almost three years. In the past year i have noticed some symptoms which i suspect is the drug. The symptoms are loose stool, mild nausea, intermittent sleep issues amd weight gain of about 10 lbs. i need at least 8 hrs of sleep at night and do not have the same energy as i had before. I finished taking my last dose the day after christmas 2009. I felt fine until it was actually time to take the next scheduled dose. That is when my life had begun to change. I didn't realize how numb I felt until until a few days later. HORRIBLE MEDICATION !!!! Cough all of the time, itch and don't get much sleep. Also gained 30 pounds. Would not reccomend this at all. I quit today. Enough is enough, hope it gets out of my system quick. Blood pressure has not dropped very much either.
