First it almost destroyed my liver. Then it attacked my arm and leg muscles and after 3 years they have not fully recovered. I have a neighbor and x brother in law that were on it and both got diabeties and that can be caused from it also. This stuff is pure poison as I ask many while out shopping if they are on it or a family member and about 1/2 say yes or they know someone that takes it and many suffer damage from it. Although not strictly a benzodiazepine etizolam shares similar pharmacological properties. My professional opinion is that one should treat it with similar caution, i.e. avoid constant long-term use, use the minimum dose that provides a satisfactory response, either relief from a panic attack, disabling anxiety or the onset of sleep and NEVER exceed the maximum daily dose, 2mg/Day, that appears in the product literature.
