After my two surgeries (few years apart) I received Vicodin on both occasions and yes, it did take away a great majority of the pain, however, i was puking nonstop due to the nausea that my doc only advised me to take if absolutely necessary since I was so sick due to it. I have had Graves disease for twomyears now. The first approach was a gradully reducing dose of carbimazole, from 40mg down to 5mg. This took approximately a year. I tolerated the carbimazle well, though can relate the commentsvre metallic taste in the mouth and and upset tummy at dose change time. This lasted approximately three days until my body adjusted. One month after quitting smoking I suffered a fairly severe asthma attack and 3 episodes of migraine aura around 11 am daily (always had allergic rhinitis ,classic migraine which for the past 20 years or so no longer includes headache, just aura, and various food additive allergies), followed by a mild stroke causing temporary paresis of right leg from knee to foot.
