This medication has many adverse physical side effects for me. The worst being weight gain and irritability. My sleep pattern is also disturbed and I have very high prolactin levels.

Tried to reduce dosage to 5 mg per week. In a few weeks joint pain increased and stayed more intense until I resumed the regular 7/5 mg per week.

Took just one capsule because it was recommended as a natural way to reduce arterial inflammation and prevent heart disease for which I have genetic predisposition. Had heart palpitations/strong heartbeat from that dose 4 times. The effect was felt within and hour of taking Zyflamend. I am stopping taking it.

See my mother's Alz experience above. She got into trouble with only 3/4 of a .5 mg tab a day. When I insisted Mom be sedated for invasive procedures at a hospital ER room, they figured they'd give her a full day's allowed dose at once, so that would be 1.5 mg. That put her in LaLa land allright. I was grateful they used it on this occasion. Overuse of this drug could have stopped her breathing. 22 mg in one day. Good grief. took ambien initail by itself but it did not help me fall asleep. I started to take it with two other medicines that were ativan and trileptal. these only worked when I took all three together to fall asleep
