I have been taking Spiriva for many years. I have COPD even though I have never smoked. It worked well for me until recently....I am now 71....I have had many side effects, including urinary tract infections, severe constipation, depression, blurred vision, dry mouth. It is a great supplement to help regulate my heartbeat and make my blood pressure better but it has an aweful taste and texture if you get the liquid form and if you take the pill form you can barely stomach to swallow it because they are so big.

I have always had a lot of joint pain and headaches. I take Tylenol to get rid of them. When I was younger, I used to break bones a lot and taking Tylenol helped once they had healed and I just had aches.

ibuprofen has done well to me i have never had any side effects although i need a very high dosage because it seems like im becoming immune and the pain doesnt go away. so i need a high dosage

Glad I read your comment. I go for my first (3 month) cholesterol blood test to see if the Lipitor is working. I think I'll ask my Dr. to ask for a glucose test also, just to be on the safe side. Thanks!

Been on it 4 days. Black stools, severe heart palpitations and dizziness. Can't sleep. Have read up on side effects on internet. All of these are possible and then some. No muscle/tendon problems, though. Will contact physician on Monday to discontinue this med.
