Nifedipine is the best of a bad situation. I do not like taking medication - I'm very susceptible to the side effects. However once I increase my water intake, I realise I am not easily affected by the side effects

Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. But I had an utterly inappropriate manic ideation. I know it's supposed to remove epinephrine from the system; maybe I had a co-cortisol cascade. I agree with anonymous July 18 2009. no joy or happiness in life. I didn't feel anything in fact. my doctor reduced the dosage and now I feel fine. I have more energy and am more motivated.

Cymbalta has been the best medication for my panic attacks and depression. I have tried Paxil, Lexapro, Effexor, and Pristiq before Cymbalta, and had to stop them all for one reason or another. Cymbalta has the best mix of efficacy and tolerability for me. Each person is different. Do not listen to reviews like these; you must try the drugs for yourself.
