This combined with several other medicines was given to me when I had back surgery. I didnt have any pain after back surgery when I was given this until it wore off.

I just had a back surgery last week to remove hardware that I had put in 3 years ago when I had a fusion done of my lower back and this is they gave me oxycodone for the pain. I irritated a nerve while healing and it felt like I had electric shock pulses in my back constantly. The oxycodone didnt begin to even touch the pain I was having so they prescribed me the norco 10mg to replace the oxycodone for the pain. Works well. The only side effect is that my appetite has increased considerably. I have become obsessed with food since starting on Crestor. I am left with the choice of either increasing daily exercise (which I already do considerably jogging 4 miles a day) or accepting the discomfort as I ignore my frequent hunger pangs. If I give in to my appetite my weight increases in spite of jogging 28 miles a week.
