I was prescriped Niaspan, but since I do not have drug insurance, the cost was prohibitive. I searched the web for a lower cost niacin and decided to try the Endur-acin because it was also extended release, came in 500mg doses, the cost for 500 tablets was $42.00, and other user comments made me feel it would be just as good. it's very hard for me to judge my experience with any one drug. I take at least a dozen medications, so I'm not sure what side effects are from what drugs. I believe the accupril was prescribed to me for my Raynauds and it seems to help.
