This is my second round with Lisinopril. I took it previously, lost weight and came off of it. Then, after life's innumerable issues, my BP went back up. I've been on it now for about another year and the symptoms are worse than ever. I've gained an additional 30 pounds that I can seem to lose. I had pneumonia in July and about a week after I got better from that, my legs began to ache and swell. They've hurt and stayed swollen all this time. I've been seeing 3 doctors and none have been able to tell me why. I have had some underlying skin rash from some allergic reation and we are not sure what is is yet. I also suffer from autoimmune problems for over 20 years. This is the only thing that has diminished my severe itching and calmed this unknown body rash (similar to eczma)for the past week. THe itching & body rash was better immediately following the first day of this treatment the next morning.
