I have been taking Effexor XR in combination with Lexapro for 5 years. Recently deciding to fast and cleanse I stopped taking both meds. Please do not stop abrubtly as I did. Follow the advice of your physician and wean off the meds. I experienced extreme withdrawls including sleeplessness, flash headaches, nausea, extreme sadness and suicidal thoughts. It's great. I had a little bit of cramping when I first started using it, but after the first couple of months that went away. My breasts grew a full cup size during this time period, and were very hot and sore during the duration. Overall, I'm pleased with Nuvaring. I don't have to worry about when to take a pill, and it's done wonders for regulating my very irregular periods.

I have a very hectic and stressful life - Xanax brings a peace and calm to me that I cannot naturally develop. It allows me to keep my life balance and has definitely helped me out greatly. The only down side is that I have to be careful mixing alcohol with the drug. It's not pretty when you do!
