I'VE HAD A WEIGHT PROBLEM FOR A LONG TIME. HOWEVER, RISPERDAL DOES SEEM TO AGGRAVATE THIS. WITHOUT MY RISPERDAL I GET VERY PARANOID AND ANXIOUS. WITH MY RISPERDAL I CAN FUNCTION AND HAVE A SENSE OF PERSPECTIVE AND HUMOR. DRY MOUTH IS PREEETY BAD IN THE NIGHT. I have been on and off of Luvox for approximately five years. I recently discussed my current medication regimen and I have decided to stay on Luvox. For me, Luvox has affectively controlled my panic disorder. Occasionally I have a minor panic attack, but even so, it is bearable and it usually passes quickly without that jump out of my skin feeling. When I first started taking the medication it gave my significant headaches, dizziness and a stomach ache, but after one week the side effects stopped. I am so glad for this medication because it has stopped my coranary artery from spasming and the chest pain is finally gone. I used to have chest pain, in varying strengths, all day long, and now I am chest pain free.
